about
co.cha.cha – short for Conservation Challenges & Champions – was created from a simple but powerful belief:
that while environmental challenges dominate headlines, there are countless people already doing the work to create a better future.
Their stories deserve attention.

mission
The mission of co.cha.cha is to amplify stories of conservation challenges and the people rising to meet them. Through thoughtful visual storytelling, we work to make environmental work more visible, understandable, and emotionally resonant — helping to educate, inspire, and foster hope. By centering people, place, and possibility, co.cha.cha seeks to strengthen the connection between action and awareness and support a more livable future for generations to come.
values
co.cha.cha is guided by care, clarity, and integrity. We believe stories should be rooted in respect — for science, for communities, and for the ecosystems they protect. We value collaboration over extraction, depth over urgency, and honesty over spectacle. Above all, we believe that hope is not naive, but necessary — and that sharing stories of meaningful action can help people stay engaged, informed, and connected in the face of environmental change.

Founderco.cha.cha was founded by a visual storyteller with a Master’s degree in Science Communication for a Better Planet – a background rooted in translating complex environmental science into stories people can actually connect with.
With experience across photography, film, digital art, and writing, this work sits at the intersection of creativity and clarity. Every project is guided by the belief that storytelling is not just about aesthetics, but about responsibility – to the science, to the people involved, and to the communities affected.
